Cody M. Frantz, 29, of 62 Clarence St., Bradford, passed away Monday (Jan. 20, 2014) as a result of an automobile accident.
Born April 4, 1984, in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of Martin "Mick" Frantz and the late Candace Mealy Frantz.
He was a 2002 graduate of Bradford High School. He was currently attending Triangle Tech in DuBois, majoring in welding and fabrication.
Mr. Frantz had a deep passion for hunting and fishing. He participated in many area fishing tournaments over the years. He will be greatly missed by his faithful hunting and fishing companion, "Sky Blue."
Surviving is his father, Mick Frantz; paternal grandmother, Barbara Frantz of Bradford; Chad (Wendy) Frantz; four sisters, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Casterline, Buffie (Todd) Baldwin, Marty (Timothy) Nicastro and Brittany (Brent) Raabe; eight nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Devin and Delaney Casterline, Brock and Brett Baldwin and Brandon, Haley and Hayden Nicastro; and many aunts uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Candace M. Frantz; his maternal grandmother, Katherine Mealy; his paternal grandfather, William C. Frantz; and two aunts, Angel Langianese and Jannie Mealy.
Family will be receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 7 p.m. the Rev. Cam Mealy officiating. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Mausoleum.
