WINCHESTER, Va. - Courtney Lee Bridge, 29, of Frederick County, lost his life on Saturday (Feb. 1, 2014) in Hagerstown, Md.
Mr. Bridge was born in 1984 in Bradford, Pa., the son of Timothy Paul Bridge and Brenda Austin-Chiodo, both of Bradford. 
He was a graduate of Warren County High School, Class of 2001. Mr. Bridge was a correctional officer with the Maryland Correctional Institute in Hagerstown. 
Courtney was an avid pool player, artist, and he excelled in sports. He was a loving father and very active in his son's life. Everybody knew Courtney to be the life of any situation, and he was loved by everyone.
Surviving are Brenda Austin-Chiodo; Timothy Paul Bridge; stepfather, Mark Chiodo; his son, Elijah Lowry-Bridge; brother, Justin Bridge of Winchester; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Courtney will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Blue Fox Billiards in Winchester. A second Life Celebration will be held at a later date in Bradford. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Omps Funeral Home, Winchester.
