David C. Benjamin, 31, of Bradford, went to be with the Lord on Friday (June 26, 2015).
He was born on June 10, 1984 in Bradford, the son of Roselyn C. Benjamin and the late Henry C. Mott.
He was a graduate of the Bradford Mennonite school on Chestnut Street in 2003; after graduation he taught at the school for three years.
He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold'em; going out on his four-wheeler and bowling. He was a former member of the bowling league at Byllye Lanes. Above all David loved to spend time with his family, especially his three boys.
David was employed by Little Caesar's Pizza in Bradford and Olean, N.Y., as the store manager for seven years.
In addition to his mother, Roselyn C. Benjamin of Bradford, he is also survived by three sons, Malachi Benjamin, Maddux Benjamin and Mikah Benjamin, all of Bradford; two sisters, Vikky (Rick) Eshbaugh of Bradford and Tracy (Damon) Griffin of Bradford; fiancé, Tasha Watson of Bradford; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and one grandnephew.
In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marjorie and Clifton Button.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Mascho Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Olen D. Painter officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
Contributions can be made to either David's family or directly to the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home Inc.
