David E. Pennell Sr., 62, of 10 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away Thursday (July 5, 2012) at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 29, 1950, in Cuba, N.Y., he was a son of the late Daniel G. and Marilynne Blackmon Pennell. Mr. Pennell was a 1969 graduate of Salamanca (N.Y.) High School. On Oct. 3, 2000, in Salamanca, he married Tammy L. Harvey Pennell, who survives him.
He worked in various capacities in the Hardwood Lumber Industry and was a gifted carpenter. He was last employed at Salamanca Lumber, retiring due to his illness.
Mr. Pennell was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife Tammy of 12 years, and two sons, David (Jill) Pennell Jr., of Salamanca and Dillon (Kaylle) Pennell of Bradford; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Cheri Pennell of Enoch, Utah; three brothers, Terry (Helena) Pennell of Kill Buck, N.Y., Daniel (Cindy) G. Pennell of Little Valley, N.Y., and Scott (Annabelle) Pennell of Claymont, Del.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Tiffany Rose Pennell.
