Dawn M. Taylor, 68, formerly of Rixford, passed away unexpectedly after a 35-year battle with Multiple sclerosis on Friday (March 23rd, 2012) at the Bradford Nursing Pavilion.

Born April 29, 1943, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Harry and Pansy Baker Roberts. On Dec. 12, 1970, she married Anthony "Tony" Taylor, who passed away Jan. 28, 2000.
Dawn was a 1961 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School and resided on Looker Mountain Road in Rixford for many years.
She was employed by Airco Spear in Bradford and later by Holiday Inn in Bradford. Along with her husband, she also owned and operated a diner in Eldred for several years.
Dawn loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting hummingbirds and doing word searches and Sudoku and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed shopping.
Surviving are one daughter, Tina (John) Baker of Rixford; four grandchildren, Aric, Courtney, Wendy and Kara; three brothers, Wilber (Barb) Roberts of Eldred, Robert (Kathy) Roberts of Cyclone and Richard Roberts of Arizona; two sisters, Genevieve (Ray) Burlingame of Hilton, N.Y., and Beverly (Bill) List of Henrietta, N.Y.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Roberts.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Glenn Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery, Genesee, N.Y.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
