Diane M. DiFazio, 57, of 15 Brookline Court, passed away Saturday (April 18, 2015) at her residence.

Born April 21, 1957, on Long Island, N.Y., she was a daughter of Samuel Wood and the late Julia Wood.
She was a 1975 graduate of Carle Place High School in Long Island.
She attended Hair Dressing and Beauty School in Olean, N.Y., and attended BOCES, where she studied medical practice billing. She worked in the Olean area for a time as an office assistant in physician practices. Locally, she worked as a cook at Players.
She was a member of the Eagles Club, enjoyed riding motorcycles, training horses and playing pool in the Bradford pool leagues.
In addition to her father of Richmond, Va., she is survived by three children, Jennifer (Tom) Snyder of Bradford, Christopher (Beth) DiFazio of Raleigh, N.C., and Brittany Sisson of Portville, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Adelle DiFazio, Morgan DiFazio, Austin Snyder, Kenny Baize and Owen DiFazio; one great-granddaughter, Amelia Bowen; two sisters, Deborah (Bruce) Renner of Bayshore, N.Y., and Karen (Dean) Sidoti of Richmond; a brother, Richard Wood of Carle Place, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; her companion, Robert Baize; and special friends, Nicole Baker and her children, Destinee, Meronica and Anastacia Deitz.
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Players on Mechanic Street for a celebration of Diane's life. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
