MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Robert C. Smith Sr. 93, passed away peacefully Saturday (Nov. 24, 2018).
He was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Harold and Dorothy (nee Chapin) Smith.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Army during World War II.
On Aug. 17, 1946, he married Kathlyn "Kay" Ross who pre-deceased him on Nov. 10, 2018.
He was a doctor of chiropractic medicine who graduated from the Logan College of Chiropractic Medicine in 1953, retiring in 2007.
Surviving are his daughter Lynn Nuzzo (Angelo) of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and Robert Smith Jr. (Ann) of Painted Post, N.Y. A cherished grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 10, soon to be 11.
At the family's request all services are private.
