Dr. Todd Montgomery, 49, of 3048 Route 646 in Gifford, passed away Monday (April 20, 2015) at his residence.

Born July 16, 1965, in Steubenville, Ohio, he was a son of Charles W. Montgomery of Wintersville, Ohio, and the late Carole Wilson Montgomery. On May 12, 2001, in Lancaster, N.Y., he married Lori Putney Montgomery, who survives.
He was a 1983 graduate of Wintersville High School. He then graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in biology. He earned his medical doctorate from Ross University.
He began working at the Federal Correctional Institution-McKean as a physician assistant and later became the health services administrator.
Mr. Montgomery enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially the Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved his cats and most especially spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a brother, Eric W. Montgomery, and a nephew, Aidan W. Montgomery, both of Akron, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will be receiving friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 E. Main St., Bradford, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. William Westling, pastor of the Brentwood United Methodist Church in Wintersville, officiating.
