E. June Lyons, 90, of 27 East Warren Road, Custer City, passed away on Thursday (March 1, 2012) at The Pavilion at BRMC.

She was born on Oct. 16, 1921, in Bartlesville, Okla., a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Rose Hilliard. On Aug. 15, 1941, in Olean, N.Y., she married Fred J. Lyons, who preceded her in death in 2000.
Mrs. Lyons was a 1940 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bradford, and had been employed by Dresser Manufacturing in Bradford for 27 years as a secretary until her retirement in 1984.
She is survived by one son, Fred C. Lyons of Eldred; one daughter, Diana Cattoni of Erie; one grandson, Joseph (Kim) Cattoni of Atlanta, Ga.; three granddaughters, Deedee (Bill) Modzelewski of Cleveland, Ohio, Suzanne (Robert Olson) Lyons of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jennifer (Akram) Krayem of Los Angeles, Calif.; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister.
At her request, there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at noon Wednesday at McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette, with the Rev. Thomas Verner, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
