Edna J. Sullivan, 69, of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Bradford, passed away on Wednesday (Dec. 26, 2012) at the Wake County Hospice Center, Raleigh.

She was born on June 9, 1943, in Salamanca, N.Y., a daughter of the late Andrew and Jessie Smeal Conner. On Dec. 13, 1975, she married Lyle L. Sullivan, who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 2005.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, where she had been the church treasurer in the 1970's and 80's.
Edna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her free time she enjoyed socializing online and meeting new people. She liked to go to the beach and even moved to Florida to be closer to the beach. While in Florida she began going to flea markets to sell antiques and various handmade crafts that she was skilled in making.
Edna and her husband were the owners of the former Kania Manufacturing. Later on, she became the head cashier at the Bradford Tops market for a number of years and finally she had been the footwear manager at the former Bradford Kmart.
She is survived by one son, Dan (Sherri Hatch) Holley Jr. of Bradford; one daughter, Robin (Dolan) Shoaf of Raleigh; two granddaughters, Amber Holley of Raleigh and Crystal Himes of Bradford; three grandsons, Matthew McAndrew and Scotty Porter Jr., both of Raleigh, and Dustin Holley of Marshburg; two brothers, Clifford (Alberta) Conner of Ormsby and Paul (Mary) Conner of Mount Alton; one sister, Sandra Good of Bradford; four great-grandchildren; eight stepchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the Mascho Funeral Home Inc., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Patrick J. Cox, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
