COUDERSPORT - Edward L. Goodenough, 68, of Coudersport, died Sunday (Nov. 23, 2014) at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by his loving family.

Born Oct. 22, 1946, he was the son of Milton A. and Geraldine M. Inman Goodenough. On Aug. 3, 2010, he married Patricia L. Kelley Goodenough, who survives.
Ed worked for many years as a trucker for Tayton of Wellsboro, independent inspector for gas pipelines, owner/operator of Goodenough Brothers Excavating and Ed Goodenough and Sons Logging.
He attended Park United Methodist Church in Coudersport. He was a Past Master and 32nd Degree Mason at the Coudersport Consistory, member of the American Legion and Brookland Club.
Ed is survived by his wife, Patricia Goodenough; son, Edward L. (Kim) Goodenough Jr.; daughters, Dawn (John Orlowski) Goodenough and Brandie (Jason Bohn) Goodenough, all of Coudersport; a stepson, Thomas (Julie) Peno of Washington, Pa.; stepdaughter, Kathryn Peno of Morgantown, W.Va.; sister, Linda Teasley of Labelle, Fla.; two brothers, Gary (Rhonda) Goodenough of Jamestown, N.M., and Terry (Trudy) Goodenough of Coudersport; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew, Thaddeus Goodenough; and infant sister, Alice Goodenough.
Ed's Life Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Park United Methodist Church, 15 East Third St., Coudersport, with the Rev. Scott Ogden officiating. Burial will be in Eulalia Cemetery.
