HARRISBURG - Edwin James Freer, 89, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 20, 2015).
He was the husband of Evelyn Freer and the widower of Virginia Suain Freer.
Mr. Freer was a member of the Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church in Etters. Edwin worked for Dresser Manufacturing in Bradford for 33 years and for Grego Lumber for many years.
Edwin is survived by his second wife; children, Timothy Freer, Mary Lu Irons, Delorus Jarrett, Pam Correll, and Lori Freer; stepchildren, David Sallack, Linnea Sallack, and Jeff Sallack; and many grandchilden and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Margie Freer McDowell; and stepdaughter, Fay Sallack.
