COUDERSPORT - Emmaline R. Raybuck, 86, of Coudersport, died unexpectedly Friday (Sept. 21, 2012) at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y.
Born on Sept. 2, 1926, in Chickasaw, she was the daughter of George W. and Florence Ida Sanford Smith. On June 3, 1946, in Shannondale, she married George J. Raybuck, who died on Nov. 24, 1984.
Mrs. Raybuck was a graduate of Brookville High School. She was formerly employed as a nurse at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a member of Eulalia Chapter #148 Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are two children, Helen (Roger) Coffman of Columbia, S.C., and Robert Raybuck of Dubois; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Tom Smith, Henry Smith, Clyde Smith and Rev. Herbert Smith and three sisters, Dorothy Williams, Bessie Smith and Lottie Palmer.
Friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Coudersport on Monday from 10 a.m. until noon, at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Evon Lloyd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Eulalia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3 Borie St., Coudersport, PA 16915; or to the , Potter Unit, P.O. Box 106, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fickinger Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, of Coudersport.
