Everett Wendall Crawford, 83, of 363 Lang Maid Lane, Bradford, passed away Thursday (Aug. 29, 2013) at his residence.

Born June 29, 1930 in Wellsville, N.Y., he was a son of Edwin and Clara Dotson Crawford. He was a 1948 graduate of Bradford High School.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army on Sept. 19, 1951, and was honorably discharged on Aug. 29, 1953. On Sept. 14, 1956, at the West Branch United Methodist Church, he married Sylvia E. Bennett Crawford, who preceded him in death.
He worked at Haliburton, then as a machinist at Corning Glass and retired from Dale Electronics. From 1958 to 1972, he owned and operated Crawford's Harley Davidson. In retirement he enjoyed tinkering with motors and mechanical things.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 749 F&AM and received his 50 pin in 2006, he was also a member of the Marche Club and the American Legion.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Patti) Crawford and Mark Crawford, all of Bradford; four granddaughters, Monica, Nicci Marie, Amy and Nikki; one grandson Dan; and one sister, Lois (Clyde) Bell of Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters Frances Andric and Marion Flanders; and one brother, Fred Crawford.
Mr. Crawford donated his body to the University of Buffalo, N.Y. Friends will be invited to attend graveside services and military honors at Willow Dale Cemetery at a later time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Masonic Lodge or the Disabled American Veterans.
