KANE - Frances T. Caruso, 93, of 100 High Point Drive, formerly of Bayard Street, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 19, 2016) at The Lutheran Home at Kane.

Born June 6, 1922, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Rosario and Frances Tornatela Caruso.
Ms. Caruso was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America Court Callistus #66. She had previously been employed at the former shirt factory, Stackpole and lastly the Kane Republican.
Frannie is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Caruso of Kane; six nieces, Phyllis Walter of Kane, Betty Lee Matz of Key West, Fla., Darlene Farnsworth of Ridgway, Judy (Mike) Carroll of Loveland, Colo., Debbie Barron of Corry and Francene (Basil) Imbrogno of Kane; seven nephews, Mike (Karen) Walter of Kane, Don (Sandy) Walter of Reynoldsville, Harry Davis of Kane, Richard Davis of Erie, Frank McGinty of Bedford, Texas, Rosario Caruso of Arizona, and Richard Caruso of Meadowlands; and a great-nephew, Paul (Donna) Dullen of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Caruso, Rosario Caruso, Richard Caruso and Pat Nott; and six sisters, Anne Martin, Mary McGinty, Julia Davis,Dina Walter, Theresa Caruso and Sister Julia, OSB.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the gathering space at St. Callistus Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be be celebrated at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Callistus Cemetery.
