ULYSSES - George Ronald "Ron" Blair, 70, of Coudersport, died Saturday (March 2, 2013) in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.

Born Aug. 6, 1942, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of George S. and Rita Mary O'Brien Blair. On Sept. 27, 1975, at St. Bonaventure, Allegany, N.Y., he married the former Susan J. Conners, who survives.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served honorably from 1964 to 1966. Ron was employed as director of purchasing by Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport for 32 years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church in Coudersport.
Surviving besides his wife, Susan, are two daughters, Danielle Blair of Saxonburg and Erin Blair of Pittsburgh; a brother, Terrance (Yvonne) Blair of Norwin; his mother-in-law, Eva R. Conners of Coudersport; two aunts, Lavonne Blair of Genesee, and Betty Ramsey of Pittsburgh; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two uncles, Robert Blair and Robert Ramsey.
Friends may call at St. Eulalia Catholic Church, Coudersport, on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at which time a Memorial Mass will be celebrated with the Rev. Joseph V. Dougherty as celebrant. Military rites will be accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard.
