SALAMANCA, N.Y. - Gladys I. Milks, 84, of Bradford, Pa., formerly of Limestone, died early Thursday morning (Oct. 3, 2013) at the Bradford Manor following a long illness.
Born on Aug. 24, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Viola Reed. She was married on Oct. 29, 1955, to Mr. Elroy L. Milks, who preceded her in death in June 1975.
Mrs. Milks was employed with the former American Tile Co., Olean, for more than 25 years, retiring in 1987.
She enjoyed bowling and reading.
Surviving are a son, Alan (Karen) Milks of Salamanca,; a granddaughter, Lisa (Tyson) Ginnery of Franklinville; two grandsons, Rian Milks of Salamanca and Trevor (Liz) Milks of Great Valley; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Reed of Perry and Cecil Reed of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Reed.
There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
