PORT ALLEGANY - Gloria Jean Lewandowski, 60, of Port Allegany, died Monday (Nov. 5, 2012) at her residence in Port Allegany.

She was born May 24, 1952, in Sayre, a daughter of Raymond J. and Marie E. Smith Lewandowski.
Miss Lewandowski was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown.
She worked as a painting contractor painting houses and commercial properties. She was also employed at the former Fireside Inn and Canoe Place Inn.
She was a member of St. Gabriel's Church. She loved movies, animals and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and had a special fondness for all the younger family members, especially her God children, Tonia, Daniel and Alex.
She is survived by three sisters, Helen (Dr. Edwin) Schott and Carolyn Forlani, both of Port Allegany, and Bridget (Mark) Pastorius of Norristown; one brother, Ray (Charlene) Lewandowski of Norristown; and nieces and nephews Tonia, Joseph, Nicole, Daniel, Michael, Estera, Jenna, Andrew and Richard. She was especially fond of her grandnieces and grandnephews, Charlie, Olivia, Alex, Evan, Spencer, Morgaine, Ronin and Gavin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Port Allegany, with the Rev. James Campbell, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Port Allegany.
