JOHNSONBURG - Grace C. Yonosko, 95, of 477 Monroe Road, Sarver, died Tuesday morning (March 3, 2015), at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, following a brief illness.
She had been under the care of the Concordia-Good Samaritan Home Hospice Ministry for several years.
She was born July 11, 1919 in Ridgway. On June 5, 1945, she married Michael E. "Mike" Yonosko. He died Aug. 7, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, John (Maxine) Yonosko of Cabot and James (Sue) Yonosko of Macedon, N.Y.; a daughter, Lynn (John) Bird of Sarver; five grandsons and five granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Martha Laughner and Edith Fedus, both of Ridgway, and Dorothy Moline of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Leo Magnus Church with the Rev. Brian Vossler, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
