Harold D. Skaggs Sr., 79, of 87 Leonard Ave., Bradford, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 15, 2014) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born Dec. 17, 1934, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Thomas and Hilda Bedell Skaggs. On Dec. 22, 2007, in Bradford, he married Tammy L. McCracken Skaggs, who survives.
Mr. Skaggs attended Bradford schools. He had worked as a real estate manager for Tullah Hanley, Marilyn Kibby and Keith Mayer. He had also worked in maintenance at Rink Brothers Garage, from where he retired.
He enjoyed playing bingo at all the area volunteer fire departments.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Verda Ott and Sharon Skaggs, both of Bradford, and Karen Beckwith of DuBois; two sons, Daniel Skaggs Sr. and Harold Skaggs Jr., both of Bradford; his former wife, Grace Stoddard Skaggs of Olean, N.Y.; one stepdaughter, Leslie Arthurs of Sunbury; three brothers, Thomas Skaggs, Floyd Skaggs and Ralph Skaggs, all of Bradford; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one aunt, Rena Skaggs Ward of Coleville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jacqueline Bellveau; and one brother, Robert Skaggs.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department on Derrick Road. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
