NAPLES, Fla. - James R. Colosimo, 74, of Naples, formerly of Bradford, Pa., died on Tuesday (June 26, 2012).

He was a son of Ray G. and Alice Showers Colosimo. He was married for 52 years to his wife Karen, who survives him.
Mr. Colosimo was a graduate of St. Vincent's College. He was a U.S. Army veteran who later entered the real estate business; he was the original developer of TwinEagles Golf and Country Club.
He enjoyed charitable fundraising, having worked with St. Matthews House, Collier County Pregnancy Center and The Arch Diocese of Venice.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Joan (Glen Barron) Colosimo, Joseph (Melissa) Colosimo, Nickolas Colosimo and Francis (Angela) Colosimo; 10 grandchildren; five great-granddaughters; his sister, Judi Robinson of Phoenix, Ariz.; his brother-in-law, Robert (Suzanne) DeBoy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Corby; his brother-in-law, Joe Robinson; and a granddaughter, Michele Sutherland.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Leo Catholic Church, 28290 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs. Entombment will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens.
