James A. Curcio, 83, of 2 South Ave., passed away Friday (June 28, 2013) at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born Oct. 26, 1929, in Lewis Run, he was a son of the late Paul P. and Alice Franklin Curcio. On Nov. 11, 1962, he married Marjorie Rinfrette Curcio, who died June 22, 2008.
Mr. Curcio was a 1946 graduate of Bradford High School. He had been a meat cutter for many years at Harvest Markets and then later at Tops Supermarket, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Bernard Church, the Marchee Club, the IAS Club in Bradford and in Lewis Run and the Italian Club in Bradford.
Surviving are three daughters, Robyn (Patrick) Bowser of Olean, N.Y.; Diane (Jack) Jarosik of Chicago, Ill., and Debby Kolarek of Chicago; one son, James (Sue) R. Curcio of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Mary Pecora and a brother, Paul Curcio, both of Bradford; five grandchildren, Shane Bowser, Ashley Horsley, Mark Austin, Jaryd Rodgers and Tiffany Curcio; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Tony Curcio.
At the request of Mr. Curcio, there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant.
