James Abriatis
James E. Abriatis, 65, of Truman, died unexpectedly in Wellsboro on Friday (Dec. 21, 2012).
He was born Sept. 30, 1947, in Castle Shannon, a son of the late Paul ""Pete"" and Mildred Renton Abriatis. On Oct. 29, 2011, in he married Beverly Crosby Abriatis, who survives.
Mr. Abriatis was a heavy equipment operator who operated various machines.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Heather (Cliff) Hahn of Emporium, Allyson Abriatis of Muskegon, Minn., and Kelly Kriner of Emporium; two sons, Adam Kriner and Matt Kriner, both of Emporium; five grandchildren; two brothers, Paul ""Sonny"" Abriatis of Emporium and Robert Abriatis of Mesa, Ariz.; and a half-brother, Ron Abriatis of Marienville.
Funeral services will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, Emporium, at 11 a.m. today. Visitation was held at the Barnett Funeral Home from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
