James L. Kilpatrick, 37, of 3479 Route 417, Allegany, N.Y., formerly of Bradford and Warren, passed away Friday (Nov. 30, 2012) at the Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital.

Born March 6, 1975, in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of Lyle Kilpatrick of Allegany and the late Donna Mackey Kilpatrick. He attended schools in Bradford and Warren and the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh.
He worked in restaurants in the Pittsburgh area as well as in Dayton, Ohio. He returned to the Bradford area in 2005 and worked as a car salesman. He was a wonderful musician and excelled with the guitar, keyboard and piano.
Surviving is his father Lyle Kilpatrick of Allegany; his fiancé Jenny Keener of Cyclone; one sister, Tina Rink (John) Bulmer of Bradford; two brothers, Jeffrey (Barbara) Kilpatrick and Terry (Julia) Jackson, both of Bradford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends Thursday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., from 4 to 7 p.m., at which time funeral and committal services will be held with the Rev. William Watson, pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Dale Cemetery.
