Jane P. Carlson, 91, of Lewis Run, passed away on Sunday (Jan. 6, 2013) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Oct. 20, 1921, in Lewis Run, a daughter of the late Arthur and Leona Kellog Atkinson. On May 24, 1958, in Evans Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewis Run, she married Earl E. Carlson, who survives.

Mrs. Carlson was a 1939 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

She was employed for 40 years with various local banks, the last being the former National City Bank, where she retired from.

Mrs. Carlson was a member of the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed making ceramics and making afghans, spaghetti and pies for her friends and family. She loved spending time with her family, friends and all of her "kids."

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Earl Carlson of Lewis Run, she is survived by nephews, Jim (Cathy) O'Neil of Lockport, N.Y., William Burtch of Columbus, Ohio, Ronald (Robbie) O'Neil of Tylertown, Miss., John, Tim (Kathy) and Marty (Stephanie) Coleman, all of Grand Junction, Colo., Pat (Audrey) Fay of Enfield, Conn., Mike (Debbie) Fay of Bradford, William Onuffer of Greensburg, Robert Armstrong of Pittsburgh, William Burtch of Columbus, Joey Breault of Erie, Mikey Butler of Lewis Run; and nieces, Marcia Onuffer of Erie, Kay (Larry) Gazdik of South Glens Falls, N.Y., Jeanne O'Neil of Providence, R.I., Donna Burtch of Columbus, Molly (Randy) Bish of Cranberry, Judy (George) Rhodes of Rew and Jan Burtch of Philadelphia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; and four sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday at Evans Memorial United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to noon, at which time funeral services will follow with the Rev. Fred J. Moore, pastor of the Rew United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Mascho Funeral Home Inc.
