KANE - Janice K. Aiello, 69, of 306 West Pine Ave., Kane, died Wednesday afternoon (July 25, 2012) at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born April 19, 1943, in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Jeanette Berg Bouse. On June 17, 1967, in Johnsonburg, she married Thomas M. Aiello, who survives.
Mrs. Aiello worked as a registered nurse for 43 years at the hospitals in St. Marys, Bradford and Kane, then was the director of nursing at Snyder Memorial in Marienville.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kane, and was an ardent sewer and quilter. She also enjoyed cruising in her roadster.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Brian Aiello of Syracuse, N.Y., Craig Aiello of Buffalo, N.Y., and Dr. Dana Aiello of New Orleans, La.; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Sydney Aiello.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Richard Bouse.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home Inc. in Kane on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m., at which time a service will be held there with the Rev. William LaVelle, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow cremation in Johnsonburg.
