Jean A. "Peaches" Himes, 58, of 78 State St., passed away Sunday (July 1, 2012).
Born Sept. 22, 1953, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Patricia O'Hargan Lyons. On June 3, 1978, in Eldred, she married James "Ed" Himes, who passed away Dec. 15, 1992.
She was a 1971 graduate of Bradford Area High School. She was employed by Zippo Manufacturing Co. and retired from the repair department after 38 years of service.
Jean lived a simple, yet full life and wanted nothing more than for others to be happy. The love she had for her daughters and grandsons will forever remain insurmountable.
She is survived by two daughters, Tanya Leonard and Jody (Matt) Silvis, both of Bradford; three grandsons, David Leonard, Eddy Silvis and Vedder Silvis; two sisters, Ione (Allen) Potter in Ohio and Linda Troutman of Bradford; a brother, Tim Lyons of Bradford; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call Thursday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, from 5 to 7 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating.
