Jonathan Michael Knight, 42, of 1487 West 900 N. Wawaka, Ind., formerly of Smethport, passed away Wednesday (May 18, 2016) at his residence.

Born Sept. 14, 1973, in Bradford, he was the son of Ira R. (Jan) Knight, who survives and the late Marlene (Anthony) Aiken.
Jonathan graduated from Smethport High School in 1992 and later from Jamestown Community College with his degree in criminal justice.
He was formerly employed at the McKean County 911 Center, a juvenile detention center in Elkhart, Ind., and was currently working as a case worker at Indiana Department of Family Resources.
Surviving in addition to his father and stepmother of Smethport, is his fiancee Jennifer Lee, with whom he resided; two sisters, Jody (Chris Clouser) Rowland of Oil City, Katie (Matt) Fiscus of Corsica; his maternal grandmother, Shirley (Anthony) Presher of Bradford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dan LaPage, pastor of the Christian Gospel Church of Coleville, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
