PITTSBURGH - Joseph Brauser, 68, of Gibsonia, formerly of Bradford, passed away Friday (July 3, 2015) in Pittsburgh.

Born Dec. 27, 1946, he was a son of the late Miriam Avrotsky and Lester Brauser.
Joe was a 1966 Bradford High School graduate and Lakemont Jr. College in 1968. After graduation, Joe joined his father as part owner of the family business, Mayer Brauser Store, retiring in 2008 after 39 years.
He was active in the Bradford Exchange Club having served as a Past President, was a past President and Treasurer of Temple Beth El and enjoyed many years of golfing at Pine Acres Country Club.
He is survived by his wife Lynne "Peach" of 45 years; sons Greg (Jennifer Walker) and Aaron (Jennifer Lowery) and grandchildren, Ben, Ethan, Nathaniel, Lily and Gabriel. He is also survived by one brother, Harry of Putney, Vt.
Family will be receiving visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Temple Beth El, 144 Clarence St., Bradford. Graveside Services and interment will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bradford, with Rabbi Bryna Milkow of Temple Ohav Shalom, Pittsburgh, officiating.
