SMETHPORT - Judith A. Morton, 70, of Pierce Brook Road, passed away Friday (Dec. 21, 2012) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, and went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Morton was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, Class of 1960.
She was a member of the Faith Church of Charity, Port Allegany, where she was youth pastor, church secretary and treasurer. She loved children.
Surviving are a daughter, Melonie A. (Landis) Button of Smethport; two step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Terry R. (Karen) Daniels and George W. Daniels, both of Port Allegany, Lloyd R. "Buster" (Karen) Daniels of Roulette, William E. Daniels of Rochester, N.Y., and Richard L. Daniels of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Susann Irwin of Port Allegany and Jean A.(Curt) Linker of Summertown, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband E. Lyle; a brother, Ronald W. Daniels; and two sisters, Barbara A. Pinchock and Patricia Taylor.
Friends will be received Sunday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, from 1-4 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held with the Rev. Deborah L. Smith, pastor of the Faith Church of Charity, officiating. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
