MILLPORT - Katheline "Marion" Watson Cherilla, 85, of Millport, formerly of Bradford, passed away Wednesday (April 25, 2012) in Clearfield Hospital, Clearfield.

Born Aug. 21, 1926, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Albert Reed and Olive Mae Kent Watson. On Sept. 29, 1946, in Bradford, she married Vincent Cherilla, who died on July 3, 1996. They were married for more than 49 years.
Mrs. Cherilla worked for a number of years at the former Gray's Drug Store in Bradford, the Zippo Manufacturing Co. in Bradford and at Dresser Manufacturing in Bradford. She and her husband had their own luncheonette, Cherilla's Luncheonette, on Kennedy Street in Bradford for a number of years. They moved to Millport in 1985.
Mrs. Cherilla attended the Millport United Methodist Church and had formerly volunteered at the Oswayo Valley Senior Center in Shinglehouse.
Surviving are two sisters, her twin, Katherine "Kay" Raymer of Concord, N.C., and Marie M. (Edwin) Hanes of Grampian; a brother, Marty E. (Marlene) Watson of Millport; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cherilla was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert H. Watson and Edward L. Watson; and three sisters, Leona Newman, Leatha Ransom and Gertrude Watson.
Friends may call Sunday at the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, 118 S. Union St., Shinglehouse, from noon to 2 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Becky L. Edwards, pastor of Millport United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery, Genesee.
