Kim Sambroia Rensel, 59, of Apex, N.C. passed away June 22, 2014 at her home.

Born Oct. 12, 1954 in Bradford, she was the daughter of Guy Angelo Sambroia and Madelyn Bottone Sambroia.
She graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1972.
She married Frederick Simons in 1975 and has one son, Timothy Guy Simons of Chambersburg.
She married Ralph Rensel in 1983 who preceded her passing.
She is survived by two sisters, Becky Sambroia of Port Allegany and Diane (Sam) (Toosie) Sambroia of Valle Crucis, N.C.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and one uncle, Tony Bottone, of Yuma, Ariz.
She was the head chef at Casey's restaurant, Limestone, N.Y., for many years, ran her private catering company, and then at the North Carolina State Capitol Building in Raleigh, N.C., she was the head chef for numerous years.
She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Bradford.
Her dog Roscoe, whom she loved, found a home with a very loving family.
Funeral services were held in North Carolina. Donations may be given to the SPCA.
Her family loved her so much and will miss her dearly.
