ELDRED - L. Imogene Kelley, 89, of Park Avenue, passed away on Thursday (Feb. 12, 2015) at her residence following a brief illness.

Born June 7, 1925, in Clintonville, she was the daughter of Addison and Elfie Eakin Phipps. On June 22, 1945, in the Evangelical United Bretheran Church in Rixford, she married Ivan D. Kelley, who passed away on Oct. 5, 2011.
A 1943 graduate of Otto High School in Duke Center, Imogene had been employed as a teller at Producers Bank in Bradford and at Slavin's Furniture in Eldred. She was a Tupperware consultant in the Eldred area for 16 years. She and her husband owned and operated Kelley Trailer Sales in Eldred as Coachman dealers for many years.
Along with her husband, she was founder of the Coachman Camping Club of Eldred.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Kelley of Erie and Robert (Kelly Backus) Kelley of Smethport; a daughter, Debra Kelley of Eldred; nine grandchildren, Todd (Jodi) Rice of Crosby, Brian (Ashley) Kelley of Bradford, Lori (Joe) Ezzolo of Duke Center, Kelley (Jim) Taggart of Coryville, Kevin (Tiffany) Kelley of Victory Mills, N.Y., Ryan (Ann Burdick) Kelley of Coryville, Sean (Danielle) Kelley of Pleasant Gap, Robert (Susan Merry) Kelly Jr. of Smethport and Joshua (Danielle) Stebbins of Eldred; and 26 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Ann Rice on Feb. 17, 2013; and her son-in-law, Roger Rice, also on Aug. 5, 2013.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, with the Rev. Keith Hillard, Imogene's nephew, officiating. Burial will follow in Lamphier Cemetery, Eldred. Friends were invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials may be made to the hospice of the donar's choice.
