Larry B. Erskin, 75, of 50 Lang Maid Lane and formerly of 2 South Ave., passed away on Sunday (Sept. 2, 2012) at the Bradford Manor.

Born March 16, 1937, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Robert and Sarah Bullock Erskin.
He was a 1955 graduate of Bradford High School. On March 1, 1956 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged June 27, 1968.
After the service, he worked for the City of Bradford Sanitation Department, the Valley Hunt Club and then for the Allegheny National Forest maintaining campsites. After retirement he enjoyed cooking, hunting, sports, sightseeing and photography. He was a member of the DAV Chapter #72.
Surviving is a sister, Marie Swanson of Simonton, Texas; and several nieces and nephews, including Robert C. Hanold, Thomas R. Hanold and Bruce A. Hanold, all of Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beverly Hanold.
There will be no public visitation. Private services and burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
