Larry D. Schwab, 66, of 555 E. Main St., Bradford, passed away Saturday (Aug. 24, 2013) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born June 30, 1947, in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of the late Carmen and Velma Brown Schwab.
Mr. Schwab was a 1965 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on Oct. 3, 1966, and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on Sept. 21, 1968. After the service, he was employed with Kendall Refinery, worked for 40 years and retired from American Refining Group. He was a member of the Marche Club.
Surviving a son, Rick M. Schwab of Pittsburgh; his loving companion, Marcia M. Whitmore of Bradford; a sister, Marice "Mickey" McCleland of Bradford; one brother, Duane Schwab of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight brothers.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., with the Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired Presbyterian minister, officiating. Immediately after the service, military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army.
