ROULETTE - Leonard C. Mahon, 88, of Roulette, died Thursday (April 16, 2015) at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

He was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Wharton Township, a son of Alonzo and Gertrude Dow Mahon. On March 5, 1947, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., he married Edna Austin, who survives.
Mr. Mahon attended Wharton schools and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a rigger in the gas fields and later employed by Pierce Glass Co. until his retirement.
Mr. Mahon was a member of Moose Lodge #460 and VFW Post #6392, both of Port Allegany.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Shall of Neptune Beach, Fla., Kristine (Eric) Landes of Roulette and Alice (Dana) Burgett of Austin; four sons, Donald (Rita) Mahon and Gerald Mahon, both of Roulette, Terry Lepold of Nottingham and Leo Lepold of Lufkin, Texas; 38 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Nasto of Port Allegany, Beverly (Nathan) Luce of Birmingham, Ala., and Gloria (Paul) Jones of Ohio; and three brothers, Ernie (Ginger) Mahon of Cuba, N.Y., and George (Janet) Mahon and Russell (Donna) Mahon, both of Coudersport.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Leonard "Tuffy" Mahon, Richard Lepold and Rocky Mahon; one daughter, Rosanne Sherwood; one brother, Fred Mahon; and one sister, Alma Fowler.
Following Leonard's wishes, there will be no visitation of funeral services at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Port Allegany.
