CLEARFIELD - Lillian Maines Jury, 87, of Morrisdale, passed away on Tuesday (April 29, 2014) at Walnut Ridge, Greensburg.

She was the wife of the late Carl W. Maines, her first husband, who died on Aug. 16, 1989, and the late John E. Jury, her second husband, who died on Sept. 7, 2004.
Born July 10, 1926, in Boardman, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Edna V. Kerr McMullen.
Lillian was a graduate of Clearfield High School, Class of 1944. Mrs. Jury was employed at McGregors Sportswear and various restaurants. She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, William C. Maines of Emporium and Charles D. Maines and his wife Judy of Sidney, N.Y.; three stepchildren; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Lillian was the last member of her generation.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband; second husband; great-grandson, Bradley Charles Sutliff; three brothers, John, Charles and Richard McMullen; two sisters, Viola J. Curry and Annabelle McMullen; and her companion, Ai Gormont.
A service to celebrate the life of Lillian Maines Jury will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, with the Rev. Charles Swenson officiating. A time to share memories and have an opportunity to view will be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gillingham Cemetery.
