VERO BEACH, Fla. - Lucille Murphy, age 90, formerly of Salamanca, N.Y., passed away at the JFK Hospice Hospital in West Palm Beach on March 28, 2014.

She was born in Salamanca to John and Agnes Prebynski Kobinski on Dec. 12, 1923. She was married to Harry "Murph" Murphy on July 28, 1951, at Holy Cross Church who preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1989.
Lucy was sole proprietor of a beauty shop in her home town at 166 Wilson Street for many years before moving to West Palm Beach.
Besides her parents and husband, Lucy was predeceased by her brother, Anthony "Buddy" Kobinski and his wife, Mary, sisters Lottie Woddarek and her husband, Adam, Lena Rakus and her husband, Thomas, Annelle Krist and her husband Michael, Maria Levonian and two nephews, Albert Rakus and Raymond Krist. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass in her honor was held on April 5th at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in West Palm Beach with inurnment at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Royal Palm Beach. All County Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
