Margaret E. "Peg" Krellner, 95, of 1570 Bucktail Road, St. Marys, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday (Jan. 27, 2013) at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys.

She was born Nov. 30, 1917, in Transfer, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Gaede Cooney. On Nov. 24, 1938, in the St. Marys Church, she married the late Joseph Krellner, who preceded her in death in 1986.
Peg was a member of the Queen of the World Church. She volunteered at the Elk Regional Health Center Re-Sale Shop for more than 40 years. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of two bridge clubs. She also enjoyed reading and enjoyed visits from her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Justin (Becky) Krellner of Coudersport and Brian (Chris) Krellner of St. Marys; five daughters, Sandra Metzler of St. Marys, Evelyn (Bud) Krug of St. Marys, Patricia (Carl) Pfeufer of St. Marys, Susanne (Bill) Astley of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Paula (Dan) Micale of Toby; a daughter-in-law, Annice Krellner of Emporium; a son-in-law, Walter Wilson of Kersey; 30 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ted Krellner in 2011; a daughter, Kathy Wilson in 2003; a sister, Kathryn Cooney in early childhood; a brother, John (Genevieve) Cooney; and a son-in-law, Frank Metzler.
Visitation will be at from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Tuesday at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of ?owers, the family has requested that a bush, ?owers or a tree be planted in memory of Peg.
