Marjorie Ann Dart, 81, of 29 Welch Ave., Bradford, went to be in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Monday (April 15, 2013).
Born on Jan. 11, 1932, in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Lennen and Dorothy Laing Gould.
She was a member of the West Branch Methodist Church. She had worked as a Home Health Care aide, an EMT, and volunteered for the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. She helped start the Meals on Wheels program in Bradford and had been with the Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years, where she was past president of the Auxiliary and held many other offices. She was a member and past president of the Bradford Township Lioness Club.
Surviving is a daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Abrams, and two sons, James (Beverly) Quigley and David Quigley, all of Bradford; a sister, Bev Randall of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Ron Gould of Chicago; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Quigley; and three sisters, Doris Wesley, Donna Ackley and Betty Chappell.
Friends are invited to attend funeral and committal services at 7 p.m. Friday in the West Branch United Methodist Church with the Rev. Max Miller, pastor, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
