WASHINGTON, D.C. - Mary Ann DeLucia, age 85, died in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014.

Born Nov. 20, 1929, in Bradford, Pa., she was a daughter of Carmine and Mary Grace DeLucia.
She lived in Buffalo, N.Y., and Boston, Mass., before settling in Washington, D.C. Her first job at Beatty's Auto Parts in Bradford gave her confidence to strike out on her own. As a long-time civil servant in Washington, D.C., Mary Ann worked at the Civil Aeronautics Board and then, for the Department of Transportation from where she retired after 38 years of service. She was instrumental in the filing of air accident reports for more than 30 years. She was also always quick to adopt new technologies and listened to music on her iPod!
Survivors include her sister Rosemary Moser, brother-in-law Ronald Moser, and sister-in-law Joann DeLucia. She was a beloved aunt to her nephews and niece, Ronald and David Moser and Marie DeLucia Ternieden and her grandnieces, Lisa Bartlett and Michelle and Megan Moser and grandnephews, Sean and Andrew Moser and Theo Ternieden.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her sister Virginia DeLucia and brother Francis DeLucia.
Services will be held in Bradford at St. Bernard Church at 10 a.m. on Monday. Burial to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery.
