Mary Ruth Brown, 92, formerly of 18 Riley Road, passed away Saturday (April 18, 2015) at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. 
Born Oct. 23, 1922, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Oliver James and Mary Christmas O'Neil Bragg. On May 9, 1942, she married Joseph M. Brown, who passed away May 14, 1995.
She attended Bradford High School. She worked for a time at JCPenney and Co. and also cleaned for the Tachler Loan Co.  
Mrs. Brown was a member of St. Bernard Church. She was an avid bridge player, bowler and a former member of Pine Acres Country Club. 
She is survived by two sons, Joseph (Jean) Brown of Elkton, Md., and Thomas A. (Lynn) Brown of Bradford; a son-in-law, Paul Mosenson of Morton; seven grandchildren, Steven (Allyson) Brown, Christopher (Stephanie Martucci) Brown, Stacey (John) Siffrinn, Susan (Greg) Gleason, Emily Mosenson, Richard (Aimee) Crary and Michael (Cindy) Crary; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.    
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Mosenson; three sisters, Irene McCracken, Edna Robinson and Marjorie Gocella; and three brothers, Paul Bragg, Frank Bragg and Vance Bragg. 
Friends are invited to call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. April 27 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., South Avenue, where a prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Bernard Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
