JOHNSONBURG - Maureen A. Pistner, 76, of 122 Mercury Road, St. Marys, died Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 26, 2016) at Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Aug. 23, 1940, in St. Marys. On May 26, 1963, she married Bernard A. Pistner, who died July 18, 1999.
Mrs. Pistner is survived by three daughters, Michele (Jeff) Azzato of St. Marys, Erin (Todd) Rosenhoover of St. Marys and Heidi Berry of St. Marys; four grandchildren, Tony Azzato, Macie Berry, MaKenna Berry and Cody Rosenhoover; three great-grandchildren, Mia Azzato and Aubriella and Kinsley Rosenhoover; two special nieces, Kelly Merritt and Jill Forester; several other nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and nephews; and a sister, Catherine "Kitty" (Harry "Bud") Merritt of Kersey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Grycen Berry; and brothers, Charles "Chuck," Kenny and Tim Kearney.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg with the Rev. David Wilson, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
