Maxine H. Keane, 93, of 2 South Ave., Bradford, passed away Monday (May 20, 2013) at the Bradford Manor.
Born July 6, 1919, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Emanuel and Mary Marsh Ketchner. She was the wife of Jack Keane, who died 1975.
Mrs. Keane was a 1937 graduate of Bradford High School.
Surviving are two sons, Peter D. Mooney of Bradford, and John R. Keane of Smyrna, Ga.; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Sivak of Kane; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Tom Keane who died in 1980; one brother Richard Ketchner, and one sister Dorothy Mitchell.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where funeral and committal services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Max Miller, pastor of the Bradford Area Parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
