Mikki Miller, 47, of Irmo, S.C., formerly of Bradford, passed away Sunday (Sept. 23, 2012) at the Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, S.C.

Born in Olean, N.Y., on Aug. 7, 1965, he was a son of Jim and Janet Campbell Hanson, who reside in Bradford.
He was a 1983 graduate of Bradford High School and the DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio.
He worked as a self-employed painter and contractor. Included in his many accomplishments were painting the Governor's Mansion in South Carolina and working for Madonna. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance and companion, Margie Welch; a sister, Kim (Doug) Bunk of Belfast; three brothers, Shawn (Barbara) Murphy, Shayn (Linda) L. Murphy, both of Bradford, and Kevin J. Hanson, of Lexington, S.C.; Marie Welch, whom he thought of as a grandaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at which time memorial services will be held with the Rev. Mike McAvoy, pastor of Open Arms Community Church, officiating.
