Obituary

Mona J. Speedy, 70, of 2 Bushnell St., passed away Wednesday (July 20, 2011) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 25, 1941, in Limestone, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Iris M. Mull Speedy.
Ms. Speedy was a 1958 graduate of Limestone (N.Y.) High School and attended airline stewardess school in Minnesota. She had been employed at Airco Speer and for the last 15 years at her favorite job, Futures Rehabilitation Center.
Surviving are two sisters, Dolores Hatch of Limestone and Shirley K. Speedy of Troy, N.Y.; a brother, George Speedy of Camden, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Donna Hatch; and two brothers, D. Fred Speedy and Gary Speedy.
Family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, and again from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, after which funeral and committal services will be held at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William Watson, pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church, officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
