SMETHPORT -Nicholas A. Gelormini, 74, of Smethport, died Saturday (Oct. 12, 2013) in the Lakeview Senior Care and Living Center, Smethport.
He was born Feb. 15, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a son of Louis and Frances Cuttrazulo Gelormini.
Mr. Gelormini was a graduate of Connelly Trade High School in Pittsburgh, and had worked in autobody over the years, and ultimately was a machinist. He worked for High Level Machine Shop in Ohio.
He was a former member of the American Legion; John Berg Post #976 of Crosby and a former member of the American Legion; Bucktail Post #138 of Smethport.
In addition to his mother, Frances Gelormini of Reading, he is survived by three sisters, Mary Ann Peto of Parma, Ohio, Geraldine DeNinno of Virginia Beach, Va., and Louise Stec of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Joseph Frank Gelormini of Smethport and Louis Gelormini Jr. of Reading; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, with the Rev. Vincent P. Cieslewicz, pastor of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Smethport, officiating.
