Pamela A. Taylor, 57, of Bradford, passed away on Sunday (Jan. 5, 2014) at her home after a courageous 11-year battle with cancer.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1956, in Bradford, the daughter of Kensler A. Schultz and the late Marilyn Reed Schultz. On April 23, 1994, in the First United Methodist Church in Bradford, she married Millard L. Taylor, who survives.
She was a 1973 graduate of Bradford Area High School. While in school, she became a member of the National Honor Society.
She loved animals and adored her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the Outer Banks, N.C., every year and spending time at the beach.
After high school, she started her career by working in her parent's floral business. In November of 2000, she opened her own floral business "Floral Expressions by Pam" and successfully ran that as the owner/operator until her retirement this past November.
In addition to her father, Kensler Schultz of Custer City and husband of 19 years, Millard Taylor of Bradford, she is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Tim) Sloter and Heidi (Jason) Blatchley, both of Bradford; one brother, Gary Schultz of Custer City; one grandson, Cole Blatchley, and one granddaughter, Brielle Blatchley, both of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mascho Funeral Home Inc., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Matthew Blake, pastor of the Bradford area parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home Inc.
