Peggy Z. Kelly, 84, of 234 Constitution Ave., Bradford, passed away Sunday (March 17, 2013) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born June 5, 1928, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Frank J. and Mae F. Beckwith Zenner. On Sept. 27, 1947, in St. Bernard Church, she married Francis B. Kelly, who died on June 21, 2009.
She was a 1947 graduate of Bradford High School. She had been employed as a customer service representative for more than 30 years and retired from Penn Bank.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of St. Francis Church, the Rosary Altar Society, the Bradford Senior Center and a founding member of the 50+ Group. She organized the first Girl Scout Troop at the Blaisdell School and in the 1960s received from the Girl Scouts the St. Ann's Medal.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie K. Kelly of Bradford; a son, Bernard F. Kelly of Midwest City, Okla.; one granddaughter, Maggie C. Swartzfager of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five sisters; and three brothers.
Family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, where a prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Stephen Collins, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
