DOVER, Del. - Randlette Neale Krouse of Felton passed away Monday (Jan. 12, 2015) at Kent General Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 76.
Mr. Krouse was born June 22, 1938, in Salamanca, N.Y., to the late George Washington Krouse and Lauretta Duffy Krouse Geist.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 1950's. Mr. Krouse was a carpenter by trade and had worked for Clyne Builders in Bradford, Pa., before moving to Delaware, where he worked for Jimmy Warrington Construction as a residential framer and roofer. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge and attended the Woodside United Methodist Church. Mr. Krouse enjoyed woodworking, freshwater fishing, traveling, camping and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jim and George Krouse; and sons, Douglas and John Cranmer.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Muriel Jeanne Cranmer of Felton; children, Bill (Martha) Krouse of Hartly, Randy Joe (Karen) Krouse of Camden, Sandra Watson of Bradford, Linda (Leon "Chip") Cobb of Felton, Randy (Debbie) Cranmer of Great Valley, N.Y., and Jim (Holley) Cranmer of Round Rock, Texas; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Woodside United Methodist Church, 1407 Main St., Woodside, DE. 19980.
